Yeshiva B'nei Torah was established June 1971 in Far Rockaway, New York by Rabbi Israel Chait. Now in it's fourth decade, the Yeshiva has been a haven for students and community members eager to delve into Torah study.
Rabbi Chait, a musmach of both Rabbi Moshe Feinstein zt"l, and Rabbi Notelewitz zt"l, heads the yeshiva on a daily basis, giving the top-level shiur.
Rabbi Reuven Mann, a musmach of Rav Joseph Soloveitchik zt"l, gives shiur to the intermediate students, starting the day with his Rambam shiur in the Mishneh Torah.
Over
the years, hundreds of talmidim have passed through the doors
of YBT, all sharing a common bond - the desire to understand the
depths of Torah knowledge. Rabbi Chait, Rabbi Mann, and the numerous
other rebbeim of YBT have given of themselves unselfishly over
the years. They have devoted their lives to teaching talmidim
how to learn, and setting before them the ideals of Yahadus.
This
site has been assembled, with great effort by Benjamin Silberstein,
to make the yeshiva's shiurim more available. We urge you to read
all the papers posted here, and to avail yourself of the completed tape
library. |
